Create a personal website or update your existing one to reflect your brand and achievements

There Are Three Ways You Can Get a Website

  1. Create it yourself (Best if you are a developer)
  2. Hire a freelancer or an organization to design for you (Recommended)
  3. Use online website generators (Not Recommended)

How to Create Your Personal Website Yourself

  1. Get a domain from a domain seller
  2. Get good site hosting
  3. Install a Content Management Software of your choice on your hosting space
  4. Create your basic pages and populate them with content
  5. install a theme
  6. Customize your website to your satisfaction

Extra

  1. Use a caching plugin to reduce server load
  2. Use GZip compression or Brotli to make sure your pages are compressed before being served to clients
  3. Use Content Delivery Network (CDN) to make sure your site loads faster regardless of distance from server to client.
  4. Setup Google Search Console so your content can be found on Google
  5. Setup Google Analytics to monitor your page visits and engagement
  6. install an on-page SEO plugin

  1. I got a domain from namecheap.com
  2. Hosted on AWS
  3. Installed WordPress
  4. Created Home and Abou Me page
  5. Installed a blank Divi Theme
  6. Customize the site with my aesthetics
  7. I set a W3 Total Cache Plugin
  8. I enabled Brotli Compression
  9. I use Cloudflare CDN
  10. Setup Google Search Console and Google Analytics
  11. Installed RankMath SEO Plugin
